Overview

Become part of a world class company! We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to join us at our engineering/manufacturing site in Auburn, WA. In this role you would help lead a team of Technicians in the maintenance, repair and installation of equipment needed to run our manufacturing floor. As an experienced leader you would also be involved in the design, documentation and implementation of machinery that supports manufacturing of our new products. A strong desire for safety, teamwork, quality and efficiency are key for this role.

Responsibilities

Some of the duties for this role include:

  • Supporting new product projects by developing processes and equipment which meet safety, quality and cost targets.

  • Mentoring junior technicians.

  • Equipment design, programming, documentation, implementation and optimization.

  • Investigation of safety/supplier concerns, production efficiencies; propose and implements corrections.

  • Design and execute experiments and tests for the evaluation and validation of processes.

  • Initiates projects to improve safety, quality, profitability and efficiency of manufacturing lines.

  • Coordinates with outside job shops to complete projects.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Two year certificate from college or technical school in a technical field and;

  • 3+ years’ experience as a manufacturing technician or;

  • More than 4 years relevant work experience.

Preferred Experience in/with:

  • PFMEA

  • Pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical production equipment, tooling, fixtures, and processes.

  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills.

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.

  • Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical solutions.

  • Read blueprints, diagrams, technical manuals and schematics.

  • Identify problems, collect data, establish facts, draw conclusions, and propose corrective action.

  • Basic understanding of physical phenomena and their analysis and manipulation.
